Counterfeit products affect businesses and consumers because they are losing money. The costs that it takes to produce something, such as a CD, isnt cheap and when you buy it from a store you own a legal copy and help pay back that fee as well as giving some to a profit. If you buy everything pirated, not only is it illegal but it is taking money away from those who worked hard to produce that product.

Counterfeit products harm companies, who do not profit from the sale of such items. Consumers however, get lower prices. They do incur more risk however. Counterfeit products are not monitored by any government agency to insure quality. However, when consumers get pirated music, they are largely not incurring any major risks, making this counterfeiting problem very significant.

One thing that shouldnt be allowed to be imported into the United States is weapons. If fallen into the wrong hands, it will not be good for the U.S. One other major thing is drugs, because of the effects it can havw on peopls lives and the people around them.

Dangers associated with counterfeit products that affect the consumers vary depending on the type of product and the testing required. Products with the trusted UL Mark help to reduce the risk of fire, shock, and/or personal injury. Counterfeit products present potential safety hazards to the end-user. Counterfeit products also affect businesses because they lose money.

Counterfeit products affect the business because if the product messes up or something and the consumer brings it back and demands a refund you have to give it to them so you lose money and also that person might mention it to friends that that business is not good so don't go. So that business loses money and business. It hurts the consumer because the consumer bought the item and it breaks but the business doesn't take it back so that person it out of money. So either way the business and consumer is out of money.

Counterfeit products affect businesses by taking money away from the business and into the hands of the illegal seller. The consumers still gain access to the product but at a cheaper rate.

Follow three guidelines of ethics:
1) Is the action legal?
2) Does the action violate professional or company standards?
3) Who is affected by the action and how?

Counterfeit products not only affects business, but consumers and friendly animals alike. Basically everyone. Counterfeit products could be money, food, soap, luxury items, etc etc. Things could and can go downhill in a hurry if your exposed as a fraud.

Counterfeit products negatively affects businesses and consumers. Consumers may receive lower prices on some counterfeit products, but when the seller is trying to pass the product off as the real thing, then the consumer is left footing a large bill for a substandard product. Counterfeit products are also dangerous for the consumer because many of the benefits attributed to the real product may not exist in the counterfeit product. A good example is sunglasses; counterfeit sunglasses are not regulated and may claim to have UV protection but don't necessarily do. Because of this, after prolonged use, wearers of counterfeit sunglasses can incur damage on their eye tissues from not being properly protected from harmful UV rays. Obviously, businesses are also disadvantaged by counterfeit products. They lose footing in the market, as the market is flooded with cheaper look-alikes, and they can get bad reputations if the counterfeit products do not live up to the expectations of the real products, and consumers still think that they are the real thing.
