While looking at the website http://www.bis.doc.gov/controlreformdirectives.html I found some regulations on exporting. Some of these regulations include, but are not limited to General Prohibitions (you must document your export), Recordkeeping, License Exceptions (having licnese revoked or suspended), Shot Supply Controls (applies to Crude oil in Canada).
Somethings to look at that may be relevant to your exporting would be the Denied Persons List, Unverified List, Entity List, Specially Designated Nationals List, Debarred List, and Nonproliferation Sanctions.
The website would not load on my computer. However, export controls would probably try to ensure that we arent exporting anything vital to American security, that the government has a record of what is exported and other concerns.
obtain current information about the exporting regulations faced by U.S. companies. Some regualtions are you have to have a special license like if exporting to Iraq you have to have a special reconstruction license and you have to have enforcement and protective measurements.
Some current exporting regulations face by U.S. companies are needing updated licenses. If someone has an expired or incorrect lisence then exporting is illegal and punishable by law.

The page will also not load for me.
But regulations that might want to be expected on exports are regulations to keep everyone safe.
